Dawson City, Yukon.

In the summer,

the sun never sets,

it only goes behind the hill.

The midnight sunlight is so soft,

and smooth,

and a dream to take photos in.

Amazing Colours of the

Yukon Autumn.

September.

Every day for a month new leaves appear yellow in a bright green sea.

Birch,

poplar,

and aspen

are set alight by the sun

now traveling lower in the sky.

Wintertime.

Starts slowly.

Snow that melts in warm yellow sunlight.

Icy puddles and fat squirrels.

Slowly,

then rapidly,

the sun disappears,

leaving more and more snow to pile.

The colour leaves with the sun and the land becomes silent,

mystical,

and still.
