About me

My obsession with photography began in the unlikeliest of places – at primary school. We were lucky enough to have laptops and digital cameras brought in to use on the odd afternoon. Discovering skills like the rule of thirds and capturing macro shots fascinated me. Soon enough, my mum's camera became a canvas for close-ups of flowers and our pets, leaving her with little room for her own shots.

While I took up photography in high school, I ended up studying International Relations at university, where I earned my postgraduate diploma and ended up working in government.

Now, as I embark on this exciting venture of starting my own photography business, I bring a blend of formal education, life experiences, and an insatiable love for all types of photography. Whether it's capturing the candid moments of a family reunion, the elegance of a corporate event, or the raw beauty of untouched landscapes, I am driven by the desire to tell compelling stories through my lens.

Explore my social media and get a glimpse into the unique perspective I bring to every shot. From the heart of Wellington to the memories of Hawke's Bay, my photography is a celebration of life, diversity, and the art of seeing beauty in the ordinary.
